Thanks Rocky. As it happens I already have McAfee but they are quoting £90 for renewal! The free option for me.

Time you enjoyed wasting was not wasted
I lost faith in McAfee a few years ago as it was slowing my computer down so I bought another security option. When i became a BT customer last year, I took advantage of BT Virus Protect being free for up to 15 devices, even though it uses McAfee. As far as I can see, it is the full McAfee internet security suite and it works fine and the issue of slowing down my computer no longer happens. I use it on my mobile as well, and it is fine. Saving myelf the annual subscription to my old security software, that's about 10 beers ^_^

Full suite?

FW, URL Filtering, HIPS, HIDS, behavioural analysis, FDE and Removable Media?

Or just AV?

I don't understand all the acronyms there, but it is more than just AV, for example, when you Google a subject and get a list of sites, it gives a safety rating and warning if a site is iffy. I'm pretty sure it's the full suite, but stand to be corrected.

Yeah they'll call it reputational but it's basically URL filtering. Good, for free.
