I came in this evening after riding my January edition of the half century challenge. I jumped into the shower for 15 minutes and came iut to find 4 inches of snow everywhere. Where the hell did that come from? Its boiling out there.
I checked my e mails and recieved one from the nice Transcontinental Race people which said " Bugger off you are too old" or something like that. :0). I was hoping to get rejected so that I can ride it in 2018, my 60th year.....honest...
I am sure better men than me have been rejected though. But not better women, as it appears all women applicants have been accepted. A great way to get more women involved in Ultra distance riding.
I will now be volunteering to help out and am looking forward to the dot watching.
