Bullhorn bars and bar end brake levers

Hello, I have just bought bullhorn bars and bar end brake levers for my road bike singlespeed conversion, I have a Boardman hybrid I'd like to do something similar to but it has v brakes, would the bar end type brake levers be compatible with v brakes?

Which bullhorns/barends did you buy? I'm looking to change my flat bars on my single speed.

I think some are compatible with Vs. You'd have to check the specs from the manufactures website.
Do you have a particular lever in mind?

setup might be a bit sensitive but they'll work ok.

You might need a shorter stem as well...

You can just about get V brakes to work with standard cable pull levers if set the pads really close to the rims but it's not ideal, better to fit some travel agents.

Thanks for the help, just done the same setup on my ss road bike and they feel great, I may at some point just try the levers on my road bike on the Boardman and see what happens, definitely better having levers there
