Well that's stopped my cycling for a while just as I was getting well into my commuting to work.
Be careful what you drop on your feet!

Yes not nice.

I once kicked a box I thought was empty but was full of reams of paper and snapped my big toe clean in half, I was hobbling around for a few weeks.

Hmmm, a open ended post. This leaves a question to be asked, but who dares ask? only to give the OP what they wanted, interaction, a reply, to prompt the question, "what did you drop on your feet?". Im not asking, but this may be the question you was looking for. you could have put it in the post, but then why would people reply..........Hmmmmm.........

I stupidly dropped a wood log onto my foot as I was putting it in my garage. I didn't say what it was because I had been stupid in not wearing safety boots like I knew I should so was trying to avoid everyone pointing out to me how stupid I was!

i once dropped a hard drive on my toe but surprisingly managed not to break either my toe or the hard drive.
it was 70mb in size and weighed about 3kg.
interestingly, i've also dropped a very expensive blade server on my foot too, picked the damned thing out of the box and it slid out of its protective plastic packaging and landed squarely across my foot.

to date i am yet to brake a bone (that i know) so i'm doing well at 33.
hope you're cycling soon!

I wish I could say the same. I'm the same age & have had 3 broken bones. I broke a bone in my right foot whilst playing football when I was 18, I broke my right collar bone about 19 months ago when I fell off my bike & I'm currently suffering a broken bone in the ring finger of my left hand, again from where I fell off my bike.

Accidentally dropping things on your feet and busting a toe is never a nice thing to do

Is this like the yorkshire men sketch.

When I busted my toe I dropped two ton of house bricks on it and nailed it to the floor. How am I doing?
