My mum had a small leak in the roof, a couple of tiles were broke, water was getting in and dripping on the ceiling of the small bedroom. the tiles have now been replaced, but it did leave a water stain on the ceiling. Mum did try and paint the ceiling but that did not cover it.

So today I removed the old plasterboard, put up new plasterboard and re-plastered the ceiling.

Yes I used skrim tape on the joints, have to do the job right:smile:

It only cost £15 to repair the ceiling, so not worth claiming on the insurance.a mate put the 2 new tiles in place for £10.
