Initially I thought bargain, then I saw it has been raced and crashed, with repair to the cracked carbon. Would the bike after being professionally repaired be as strong as it was previously? I'm a heavy rider at 98-100kg.

Depending on the damage it can be possible.

I know a chap bought a damaged frame, had it repaired by a guy that builds carbon chassis for Red Bull, so plenty of experience both building and repairing with the material.

I'd want to know about the damage, with photos to prove, and who did the repair before I'd be happy. The slightest doubt and I'd go.elsewhere.

Fast and careful!
Buying second hand carbon can be a gamble at best!
I have had repairs done before ,and have seen so called reports done by bike manufactures ( anyone can do this on a pc)and the frame snap,
One of my pre repair was only visible as a lacquer dent, but as carbon can start to detereate from the inside out,a simple track tapping test can identify it some say X-ray ,always really examine a frame well any abnormal marks can be trouble in the future ,a reputable frame repair can be £130 and with a strip ad build cost , all adds up,

Do you know how insurance companies/the motor industry have some accident damaged cars scrapped and their identities destroyed to prevent dangerously damaged/repairedvehicles from being returned to the road?

Well maybe this should be introduced for bikes too? IMO that bike is unsellable and should never be bought. If the original owner really wanted to keep the bike and intended never to let anyone else ride it then fine but I suggest that it should be destroyed once he has finished with it rather than passing the risk to someone else to make a few quid. Do not buy unless the price falls to the point where the value of the components make it worth buying as a donor bike.

That's what I was thinking. Even if it was fine would probably have a niggling thought in the back of your head the entire ride.

No, you have the pick of brand new bikes for that (and which aren't black  )

I love black bikes! This is another beautiful Kuota although it's medium and more than I am looking to spend.
