Buying wifi access while away

Just a cautionary tail. While staying at an English youth hostel Mrs B bought 3 days worth of wifi access through Global Gossip at cost of £14. This seemed a bit steep to me. Then after best part of an hour she was having no luck with getting it working. The router was restarted twice as was the computer but we couldn't even get the home screen to load. The staff had no problem in giving her refund.
