Nintendo are looking to thwart R4 cards with their new DSi console to be released this year.

Try Edge cards. They work well.

We had a visit from friends who live in Singapore last year and their two teenagers had these cards.

Quite a few people at work have them, they seem to work fine. Too skint to get one at the moment, but then I don't play on my ds that much, so it's not really worth it right now....

A mate of mine sells these cards, can't get enough of them! He'll get you the card and give you 300 games to go with it!

I think that the software makers only have themselves to blame for charging so much for the games but I still wouldn't buy a card. I could get them off my mate no problem, our three kids all have DS consoles, but it's theft. Lots of people doing it doesn't make it right.

Also, I don't want my kids to have hundreds of computer games to play, I'd rather they had a life so the less games they have the better.

Got a TTDS and a CycloDS Evolution - the TT is dead cheap, but the Cyclo can do loads of stuff - not that I know, but it seems a little less picky about the order the roms go in.

Bought two TTDS ones for my niece and nephew for Xmas.

What's a TTDS?

It's the name of the card - loads of different ones, TTDS, R4 Cyclo DS.

You buy one of them, and a micro SD card, format the card according to instructions on the makers web site, drop the firm ware on it, and off you go.

The added benefit is it gives the DS media and internet access - i.e. music and video - so it catches up with the PSP that way.
