hi

so i might get a xmas bonus this year and in the unlikely event of actually receiving it before xmas, i might plump for a nice juicy set of wheels. around the £300 mark. does anyone have the zonda wheelset or has rode on them who can offer comment? or indeed any other recommendations?

my bikes a giant defy 3 currently running on fulcrum r5s.

Have a set of Zonda 2-Way Fits and a set of F5 Evolutions. It's not night and day between the two, they're both excellent wheelsets, but the Zondas are definitely a notch above. Bit smoother, a bit faster rolling, the annoying/quirky F5 & F7 freehub noise is gone.

I've done about 2000 miles on a pair of 2way fit Zonda's. Still as true as when they were new. With a good clean come up like new apart from the odd scratch. The only issue I've had is one broken rear spoke (hub end) which went while the bike wasn't being ridden so might have been a defective spoke (it was after about 400 miles). Haven't tried them with tubeless yet probably get winter out of the way before trying a pair.

Had some Zonda's since 2005. not everyday use though but I do swap them between bikes. I would thoroughly recommend all Campagnolo wheels. Tyres do seem to be tight on them though. Don't know if this is still the case with 2 way fit.
