Shouldn't actually be too difficult, many of our friends ride [and race] tandems, with the heights you quote you could easily get away with a medium front and small rear, or in old money 21" and 17".

Totally fixed, many thanks for your advice - most helpful. A quick scan round shows that there are a number of machines that may prove to be suitable. Ironically, one of the best is on this site under the Classifieds/For Sale section (A Dawes Super Galaxy). Unfortunately, as a newbie I am unable to partake in Classified activities as these privileges are withheld for 30 days.
