i must admit i am not a fan of the modern fashion for large LCD screens and no viewfinder. My new panasonic is an excellent camera and a big step up from my old Finepic 5000, .

lovely camera the Finepix S5000 series . I still have my S5600 the one with the fixed lens which eliminates the slight delay on powerup.

There are times that trying to compose a shot with the Finepix J120 in bright sunlight using the LCD screen is a nightmare true. But then that is not the object of the compact style camera.

If I need a decent image then I use my S5600 with the viewfinder.I wouldn't take this camera out on my bike to take snapshots.

If I want an easy to carry camera to take some snaps that I can put into my shirt Pocket or bike wedge then I carry the Finepix J120

The two cameras are a perfect combination and complement each other perfectly.

Its horses for courses;)

With the Panasonics you can alter the brightness of the screen, also the angle of view so you can hold it above your head in a crowd. The anti-shake also has different settings.

Unfortunately the finepix died and I had to replace it, brought the Panasonic and have been very impressed with it. With 10x zoom and the other features its a very good package and it will do most things I need a camera for, there's no need for a second camera. Its just nice to have something that will fit into my jacket pocket, just, after years of carting around bulky cameras.
