Cameras on a budget

Hi been looking at the idea of video cameras, are there any cheap ones that to the job pretty well ???

What do you want to use it for.

For recording cycling the mini DV (MD80) camera is available for around £15. Small cam that you can fit to your bike.

7dayshop do them or just google.

I own an MD80 mini DV. It's good but the Li' Po' battery doesn't last long on mine, maybe 40 minutes on full record. Could just be a dodgy battery in mine though.

Yea I think they the ones I have seen on ebay . What is the picture quality like ??

It's okay, not brilliant or as good as a proper HD video cam but okay.

If you look on youtube there are some examples, search for MD80 on youtube.
