Will it spur the government or Boris into action? Pathetic amount of cycle parking facilities in London and I know Boris has had his bike stolen before as well…

What we need in this country are better bollards. I've been lobbying for this for some time, and I know from talking to the people that this is something that really matters to them too.

For 10 years, there has been neglect of existing bollards and a failure to invest in research into new bollards. There has been a catalogue of missed opportunities during which the rest of the bollard-producing nations have stolen a lead on us, and have left us bottom of the bollard league tables.

I say what this country needs is change and strong leadership if we are to give Britain what it needs most



- a load of bollards.

After watching the TV news item, I wonder if he was being followed (again) by the Mirror journo, who then nicked the bike to make the story.

The Mirror have now found and returned Mr Cameron's bike, so it does look a bit iffy.
