Campag Centuar Chains

I am a happy user of this kit on both road bikes but I anticipate that it is time for a change of cassette and chain on at least one bike. I will use the new Centuar which has 12-30T. What is the best chain option

• two new chains to be swapped every 1000k or so or one new chain only?
• Campag chain or that of a specialist such as KMC?
• is it true that Campag break links are usable once only?

I had a bad experience with a KMC X10SL chain - bent sideplate after only 200 miles, and reverted to using a Campag Veloce chain - but joined with a KMC quicklink. You need the Campag specific 10 speed one.

KMC X chains every time IMO.

They're all I ever use now as I've never had a problem with one
