Campag v Shimano...

I've had both and prefer Campy. Shimano is cheap to maintenance since parts are widely available from third party suppliers, whereas Campagnolo gruppo with high mileage is quite an expensive combination if compared to Shimano. It's like comparing a Toyota to an Alfa Romeo, a toyota will do for the most of us but still some people want to have some "soul" to their ride.

Campag here, but if you have the wheels nothing wrong with shimano, the wife got 105 on hers, shifts really nice.

The wife now has campagnolo, she say's it's a lot better than her old 105, and she is always right.
