Hi there, could anyone please help me with the size of the rear derailleur? I recently broke the one on my bike in a small accident, and am looking around to replace it. The original model is Campagnolo Xenon 9 Speed, and the bike has a triple chainset (29-52 it seems to be, if I counted correctly) and a sprocket set of 13-28. Here comes the problem: I can only find online the short and medium size from Campagnolo Xenon 9 Speed, whereas I might need a long one -- I found the following instructions:
"- Short (254g) for double chainset and sprocket set up to 13-26.
- Medium (258g) for double chainset and sprocket set up to 13-28 or for triple chainset and sprocket set up to 13-26
- Long (263g) for triple chainset and sprocket set up to 13-28"
Could I possibly just use a medium one instead? Would it work or it would not work at all? Or, if I get a 10 speed rear derailleur, would that possibly work?
