Any idea what this sticker would have said?

It's on my recently acquired Humber Beeston Tourist. The SA hub is dated 1951 and is believed to be original.

From the little I can find online, I think the frame is Reynolds 531 but need to confirm that also.

Scratch that. Just found it lol

High Tensile Steel Tubing... Does that mean it's Humbers own frame ?

It's probably Humber's name for Raleigh 18-23 "own brand" tubing which is not like a gaspipe catalogue bike. Bikes made from that may not be lightweight as it's not butted but they always ride like a dream in my experience.

I can well believe it - my Polish-built Raleigh rip-off seems to have copied the pipe sizes and maybe even the process because it's a much better ride than a contemporary Half-odds store-brand steel bike.
