No. She's just a really chatty girl. Comes from a very well to do family and imagine she has had a very easy life. Private school, nice holidays and think she just says what comes into her head.

I suppose she may have a bit of a dry sense of humour, and it is him who misses her joke, maybe.

i had 3 cheeseburgers from MAc Ds when they had the 20 p promotion, bloody tiny they were too so had to go back. still hungry after those.

I went out with a vegetarian a number of years ago before Mrs ArDee and we went to Burger King, where they say you can have your burger whichever way you want it i.e. without the pickle, etc. I had to ask for a quarter pounder with cheese, or whatever their largest burger is, without the burger!

A friend used to go out from work for a pub lunch in Swindon to a pub that did a very good ham, egg and chips.

A vegetarian went with them one day and was told they didn't do egg and chips but was able to order the meal but without ham ;).

That reminds me a bit of the Two Ronnies sketch in a cafe which went something along the lines of:

'can I have the sandwich without mayonnaise as I don't like mayonnaise?'

'No, we've run out of mayonnaise you'll have to have it without mustard'

I'm not the only one then...:becool:
There's a well established roadside cafe near work...Amando's, nice Italian guy owns it.
On his menu, he has a Hawaiin burger, a cheeseburger with a slice of pineapple.

Every now and then, i ask for a hawaiin without the pineapple

First time, he looked at me, narrowed his eyes, thought about it and said...
'you want a cheeseburger then'

'well, if that's all you've got'

I was in a restaurant in Liverpool many years ago; after the meal the waitress asked if I wanted anything else.
Me "I'll have a black coffee"
Her "What's that?"
Me "Coffe without cream."
About 10 minutes later she comes back empty-hsnded; "We don't have any cream, do you want it without milk?"

Was flying out from Gatwick a few years ago. Kids were younger and demanding warm milk for breakfast - so off to Costa/Starbucks/whatever.
'Can you do me two warm milks?'
'Sorry, no we don't do that'
'OK then. I'll have 2 lattes without the coffee'

Exactly what I order on the rare occasions I visit BK. Because diet coke just tastes better than fat coke.

Reminds me of an ex-girlfriend of mine. Phones me up one evening and asks "How do you cook spaghetti?", "Boil up some water in a pan, put the spaghetti in and let it boil for about 10 minutes. Drain off the water and you're done." I answer.

Later on that night she comes in to see me at work (I was working in a pub at the time) with her hand all bandaged up. "What happened?" I ask, to which she replies, "I cooked the spaghetti like you said, but after I'd drained off the water, I burnt my hand trying to get it out of the tin"
