Can you add eyelets later

Guys looking at the Genesis Fortitude Race 29er for cross country touring.I am under the impression that their are no eyelets to support rack and panniers.Can these eyelets be added to the frame and would they affect the strength of the frame.I dont know why they dont put them on as they put the eyelets on the alfine adventure which i believe is the same frame

any advice appreciated

Easiest way is to use P clips. Once fitted they don't look too bad and have no detrimental effect on the frame. Article and photos here:

Tubus do a rack fitting for the quick release:

M-Parts then do a seat post collar with bolt fittings

Sorted!

thanks for the info guys ,will look at both options,dont know wht they dont just put them on in the first place saving any hassle
