Many thanks for the help and suggestions on here, our two weeks in British Columbia flew over so fast that I felt a little cheated after the months of planning that took place before hand.
Still, we motor cycled 2000 miles through some of the most astonishing scenery:
Icefields Parkway
Hired Quad bikes and rode to the top of Canoe Mountain!
and weathered the tail end and aftermath of the worse tropical storm to hit Vancouver in 10 years.
Hard to take it all in really.
Anyway, back to cycling. In Whistler we not only hired some bikes to cycle around the wonderfully bike friendly town but I bought myself a very well engineered action camera mount:
I've never seen this type of mount before, all stainless fittings and quite robust, it swivels on a single large ball that
is clamped down by twisting the handle. I cant find it on their website but it looks as though Trek bikes are behind the company in some way.
Finally, for some stunning photo's and an equally stunning story, we met a couple cycling a similar route that we did but pulling kayaks in a trailer with them! They are in lots of social media pages but here is the adventure site I found them in first:
