....are real and very nice too.

For those that don't know, these are real grapes and taste a lot like candy floss.

Just scoffing myself through a bunch and am feeling very Grape Ape.

Anyone else had them?

Sorry - but Cotton Candy, candyfloss, sweet and juicy makes me think of ........ supermarket chicken.

Me? I'm running a mile.

We pack them in our factory for M&S, cotton candy and a couple other similar varieties...i think they're simply a developed, hybridised variety nothing at all to be concerned about afaik.

Personally I'll eat them. I think they're a premium product with a premium price. It's all down to taste...i like white (green) grapes, love black grapes, don't like red grape and cotton candy....take em or leave em.

It's what happens in retail. Grapes have been limited at supermarket level for years to the bland green and red ones.
New hybrids can be offered at an elevated price.
Tesco do what they call strawberry grapes. I expect there will be others in the development.

The entire flavour and fragrance industry is awash with fancy descriptions at the moment. What sounds better: "floral shower gel" or "jasmin, honeysuckle and witch hazel" shower gel?

They were lush.It was Games of Thrones night last night, but not that kind of throne. Eating grapes whilst watching puts me more into the atmosphere of the show.

So far, a flock of starlings has not been unleashed into the pot. But that of course could change later. I'll keep you updated. :okay:
