I am looking to purchase a new bike to use on the road and some light gravel tracks in debyshire. I like both the caadx disk 105 and the synapse disk 105. The reason for considering the synapse is i like the way the cables go through the frame and the higher gearing, however i am insure if the bike /wheels will be strong enough for the gravel tracks. I will also be using this bike to do the london to brighton ride in june.
Please advise
Thanks Mat

The CX is going to be the better bike for gravel/light track use, but is it going to spend enough time on them to make it a clear choice over the road going synapse?

the synapse is a road bike so is not really suitable for gravel paths. sounds like the caadx would be a better option.
