Canyon SLX stolen from Redbridge Cycling Centre 17/11/2013

Had my relatively new 2010 model Ultimate CF SLX 60cm matt black with Campagnolo Zonda wheels stolen this morning while I signed on for the sportive in Fairlop, East London.

There was something else on here recently where 2 road bikes were stolen from a sportiv by 2 guys dressed as cyclists.

Its bad news when you have to lock your bike up to register. But what a great place to find a good bike if you are a thief.

We have all been warned now. Lock your bike up.

Yeah, what little CCTV of my tea leaf showed him dressed as a rider, riding it to the car park, packing it in the boot of his pixelated black saloon, and driving off. He also nicked my friend's garmin. We both left the bikes to register. That was an idiotic and expensive mistake.

It sounds like the same MO. The road bikes were Carbon, I think and the guys went for a pee. One of the guys said it was the most expensive piss he had ever had.

You need to post this in the general forum to warn the guys.
