Cape on a trike

Has anyone tried wearing a cape on a trike with any success? I contemplate this as I listen to the rain falling, about to go out with trike and trailer on 8 mile round trip to my daughters dance class!

If the answer is yes then did you wear it over the seat back, I can visualize something like a canoe skirt.

I tried it and it doesn't work, even tied to my Streamer it ballooned up so far I couldn't see!

Well that was the first trike experience in proper rain. The over trousers and jacket were fine, and some how feet were dry. Yes I can see that ballooning would be a problem.

Mudguards are on the way from DTek, so hopefully spray will be reduced, and once fitted can decide about glasses- looked like I had fallen in a muddy puddle!

I wear glasses so have fasten a visor (like a motorcycle helmet) on to my cycle helmet, works a treat.
