Kirkby Stephen - Stillington, York 76 11.1
Total miles 551
Extra from home to York Station, Lairg Station to Cape Wrath & miscell 101 miles.
Persistent headwind until I turned the corner near Penrith. It was also "monsoon" season between Dunkeld & Kinross.
Bodhbh - Thanks but too late - I got a couple of "ticks", but I was blaming a Laxford Bridge sandwich break for that, maybe it was CW.
drewglasgow - Yep! £7.50 return, including £2.50 for the bike. Minibus extra for pedestrians.
dodss - I was told that the MOD maintain the Kearvaig bothy to quite a "high" standard, but I did meet someone who was complaining about all the food having been taken!
I met the lady in the CW Lighthouse who went out to collect her Christmas meal on the 23rd December and didn't get back until the middle of January.
I would add a few photos but you've all been spared as that is a bit too technical for me.
