anyhow, collared a young PC on his way into the building and asked his advice, in short he said to call the constabulary local to where it happened (wilts) and let them know, they would more than likely get the local beat plod to knock his door and assess it.
So there we go, I hope his local officer (who I believe I know) checks up on the old boy and sees if he is actually safe.
