Why not report to the relevant department of the council (or police). The council will otherwise have to spend (our) money clearing it up, so presumably they'll endeavour to enforce if they can. And will have access to all the databases as a legitimate need.

I would imagine that the council will do the sum total of feck all, similar to LBWF and LBN here in London. like spending lots of money on signage saying " cracking down on enviro crime" but reality is nothing happens.

I reported several suit bin bags dumped outside our house with adresses on paperwork inside ( yeah how stupid) after 4 days I put the lot in the car and took it to the tip myself.

We have had an instance of fly tipping on the bike path where I work.
we have the reg of the car on cctv. I recall seeing a website posted by someone on here where we can find out who owns it, but I cant find it. Any Ideas?

We are considering putting it in the pick up & dumping it on the feckers lawn:hello:
DVLA hold the details of the last registered owner. But you'll need a better reason than flytipping(as an individual requesting the information) for them to be able to release it to you.

You could at one time use the RAC site to get the information. However that part of the site no longer appears to be there.

That's an environmental crime in itself, couldn't you have taken it on your bike, even if you had to do more than one trip?

sadly no as the suitcase was too large to be safely carried. and LBWF preffered waste solutions provider ( what a load of management guff there) won't allow bikes on site or waste to be carried in off the street. so you can't even take it on the bus ! yep LBWF the environments bestest friend

Thanks for explanation, that's dreadful!
Fortunately my local waste handling site has no such silly rules.
