Just had a mass E mail today apologising for the lack of car parking at work.
Reasons given were building work (fair point) and the inclement weather meaning people not using public transport or cycling anymore.
It has rained once in a month ffs !!!
Even though there isn't enough spaces they don't do anything to encouarge people not to drive.
If 5000 people pay £80 a year for parking they get their profits.
If 1000 of those don't park they lose £80k a year.
