Car ved refund

Anybody know how I'd go about it ? I recently sold a car with a few months duty remaining I'm hoping to get a refund of unused part ,any idea how to do it

Doesn't it credit automatically now?

I recently sold a motor and the outstanding vehicle licence fee was refunded automatically by cheque.

As above, just sold my car with 11 mth tax..it will be sent out asap .
You must send the yellow part of the log book back tho

Since October 2014 its all automatic as long as the paperwork is correct

It's what car tax used to be called. I'm pleased that I don't pay it either, which is highly annoying to those that trot out "you don't pay road tax" malarkey. Indeed I do not.
