Hey guys,
I picked up a old Carlton bike. I believe it is a 1972 continental. Does anyone know where to pick up some old paint/ parts? It is a light blue colour.

e bay is a good source of parts , what you looking for ?

as for paint not sure where to suggest . get a few pics and put them on the classic & vintage section on here so we can all see please

Universal Cycle Centre in Maltby, South Yorkshire used to have a respray/restore service that had an ex-Carlton sprayer use the old colours.
I've not been there in ages but thought about getting my 1980's Carlton Kermesse restored there.
Dave Marsh that runs the place is also a good source for old parts. Converted me from Shimano ax500 aero to ax500 standard.

I'm not sure what parts on the bike are original so I will have to have a look- this is my first vintage bike. As for the pictures I will try and get a few taken:smile: thank you for your help

There are a few Carlton experts on here so you should be getting some expert advice. Let's have a photo so that we can advise what is original and what's not. Good find.
