I think Eddie's is the one to be admired. I have watched episode one (not star wars) and have nothing but admiration for him.

There have been a few threads on sport relief already, none have taken off. Not many people seem to be interested. Izzard did fantastically well though, upmost respect for him.

I'd recorded part 1 of his marathon(s) and only watched it last evening, so I don't know how it turns out in the end, but gob-smacking stuff - he has real guts to take on such an immense challenge.

I didn't know what he was up to, so Googled it - wow - 43 marathons in 51 days - that's bonkers!!!

I didn't even know it was on - I haven't the time to watch it now but I must set aside some time.

I heard about Eddie doing the marathons at the time and enjoyed the first episode on I-player last night.

I think it really is a truly staggeringly difficult achievement he's done.
