Centralise rear wheel

Hi Guys/Gals

Need some assistance please I for the very first time since 1998 have just changed the tyres on my old Kona mountain bike. I have up'ed the size from 1.98-2.25 they seem to fit fine but the rear one seems twice as close to the non drive side chain stay. Is this right/wrong can I sort it?

Are they horizontal or vertical drop outs?

With my horizontal drop outs its harder to get the wheel lined up than on vertical
