Took my grandson (7) to see Alvin the Chipmunk the other day. I thought trailers for forthcoming films used to be limited to the same certificate as the main event but seemingly not. Quite a number of people complained and the manager said that trailers were grafted on to the main feature over which he had no control. He did apologise though. The lad is hardly a shrinking violet in fact far from it but the scenes of dead and badly injured soldiers quite disturbed him. Just wondered if those of you with young children have encountered this?
