Just swapped some bits about, everything is pretty much unused and its a new chain, when im in the Big chainring and smallest sprocket the chain is "ticking". It stops when i change up one on the rear. It looks like the chain might be slightly catching the side of the chainring. Does it just need bedding in or any other advice. Its a sram red aero chainset with rival front/rear and shifters.

It looks like its lined up fine in the centre three/four gears on the rear cassette but when it goes in the smallest sprocket the chainline is out

Im actually hoping its ok out on the road as its doing it on the workstand, just cant work out what to tweak to get rid of it. Changes through all the gear combinations front and rear.

Good luck with the fix, @frogdr1ver . Derailleur adjustments must be one of the most frustrating and finicky bicycle maintenance jobs! Right now, I'm thinking that the "Technical Know How" forum needs a "Derailleur Installation and Adjustment" sub-forum, because the number of threads on that topic easily justifies a sub-forum. What do you think, @Shaun?
