I think it has plenty of life left in it.... ? but no expert
This is the old cr and the bike has done at least 2.5k miles
Have just bought compact 34 and want to swap it back to the 39 for most rides..

I dunno...it depends on a few factors.
What speed ?, 8, 9, 10 ?
I replaced the chain on my 10 speed a few months ago...chainrings looked ok, cassette was showing a bit of wear, but i thought it'd be ok....and it's worn the new chain excessively fast.
8 speed (which i know it's unlikely to be) is pretty indestrucable, 9 speed wears that bit faster, and boy...do you have to take care with 10 speed.

I'd say for 10 speed, consider your options very very carefully.

If you're still going to run the same chain, i'd probably fit it.
If you look at about 8 oclock particually, you can see some wear, the bottom of the teeth appear more dished.

yeah, that'll be good for a few thousand miles yet. I;ve had rings whcih still worked perfectly when the odd tooth more or less was not there

When a chainring wears the teeth start to look pointed and 'sharp'. Those teeth still look nice and flat at the tip so I would say there's loads of life left in it.

Thankfully chainrings on road bikes last a lot longer than 2500miles.
