Can I change my chain rings (double) with the crank still on or do I have to remove the crank to get access to them ?

Thanks

Should be able to thread your chain rings over the crank and pedals without removing crank or pedals, done it on a 4 bolt 110 bcd chainset on the mtb with platform pedals.
Triple set and the inner smallest ring you would probably have to remove the crank.

Double you can, triple you can't. That's for a road double, with 130 BCD.
Take all five bolts out, and the rings will wiggle off. Simples!!!

Why bother making it complex? Removing cranks takes 5 minutes, then you get as much access as you want to any set of rings.
