Ross Lydall reports that Sir Robin’s objection to part of Cycle Superhighway 2 running through the borough on its way from Aldgate in Tower Hamlets to Ilford in Redbridge is because he believes there are already too many roadworks in Stratford High Street.

Nice shot, Dawesome. I've a particular dislike for Robin Wales, oh, I've no idea why. Newham is a cultural and social wasteland. I cycled through Hackney on Saturday morning (on and off the canalpath) and counted loads of pubs and cafe's doing brisk business. Newham? Not a single destination that anyone would wish to visit. Not one! Beyond Westfield, there's nothing to cycle there for (unless you live there). East Ham? The docks? No. Stratford? No. Well, unless I didn't work there, I wouldn't go.

Anyone with half an interest in Newham politics should check out this site:

Dont get the relevance, must be some sort of hip message board cliquey piss take.I also don't get why today I received an email from Tfl stating that I should stop at red lights (although I actually do),so why would they actually send me this email?

Is it possibly because people notice a large majority don't bother stopping in London?

Apart from a few other tips and tricks.Did anyone else get this email or do I have to trawl it out?
