I've got a Charge Spoon saddle on my Charge Mixer. I've also got a Giant Defy 2 2011. I'm very comfortable on both thank you very much and I think I now know why they seem equally good.

Surely the Defy saddle is a Spoon in disguise? I only noticed when I had them next to each other today - they are the same shape/size.

Same saddle (except the Spoon is available with Ti rails which make it a bit lighter). Both made by Velo. I have compared them side by side on my bikes.

I've got the same bikes at Thomk and realised that the saddles are very similar - not the same though. The spoon has slightly less padding and the rear pearch is every so slightly raised.

I think they're both made by Velo.

It's interesting because one of the few complaints I've read about the Defy is it's saddle, yet, the Spoon gets rave reviews.

It seems that some people think it worthwhile to swap a Defy saddle for a Spoon strangely enough.

Madison flux is another charge spoon. I have a spoon and a flux on my two bikes and they both feel the same. I don't know anything about the Defy saddles though
