Charlie Brooker - must-see teevee

Anyone see his show t'other night? Brilliant as ever on the news and its presentation (the two guys 'fighting over cardboard boxes' who were clearly, when replayed, just mucking around, having a laugh). The best bit though, the clip of Jezza bearding the blessed St. Ing of Geordieland...

Jezza: You're widely seen as a leading figure in the environmental movement - how do you square that with your habit of jetting around the world from one palatial residence to another?
Sting: Oh ho...well, I think it's a bit of a red herring Jeremy, blaming the world's environmental problems on the lifestyles of a few famous people.
Jezza: I'm not saying you're to blame. I'm saying you're a hypocrite.

What would we do without him?

I'm a big fan of Mr. Brooker, read a couple of his books and blogs etc. This is the first tv series of his that I've watched and it's up to his usual acerbic standards.

I used to read TVGoHome regularly before he got televised, but that doesn't seem to have blunted his witty observations.
