Chavs uniform

I have just walked into town. I was way to hot in a shirt and tie. Despite taking things as easy as possible my shirt now has large sweat marks under the arms / down the back - lovely.

The amazing thing was that there was a large group of young lads riding around town with thick hudded tops on (hoods up) and tracksuit bottoms!

If I pop back in a hour or two will they be passed out by the side of the road with heat stroke?

How can anybody ride with long trousers on and a jumper when it's 26degs out there is beyond me.

On the train last night it was about 90 degrees, crammed so full that people at stations waited for the next train, ratboy next to me had a tracksuit, sweatshirt, hood up and pulled down over his eyes, then a baseball cap on top !

Mind you he smelt a bit ripe.

That's odd, because the obligatory chav hot weather uniform is shirtless, weedy and pale, with some kind of polo shirt tied at the waist.

in winter, for the chavettes, it's as little as is possible to remain 'decent', in order to stand at bus stops looking like they're desperate not to look like they're cold…
