Are these going to be any cop? I've done some research and know that the XM-L T6 is a good emitter, but I'm not sure if the rest of the unit will severely impair the output.

Im pretty sure that you'll never get the quoted 1000 lumens out of it with that power source, but even half that would be enough for me.
Thoughts?

They are flippin bright - got a new Magicshine 808E with the T6 - the torches should be fine on a helmet or with a mount. The problem can be vibration.

Thanks folks. It's so cheap it won't matter if it rattles to bits!
And yeah, I looked up the emitter and it'll output 100lumens per watt, so a 1.2v 2.8mah should give me about 330ish, which still would be enough I think.. Or I'll just get 2!
It's quite criminal what they all claim.
Edit: got that post totally wrong, it's got a 18650 battery of course!
