Cheap eye protection.

Recently came across Wickes "Sport Style" safety glasses:

Two pairs (one clear and one smoke tinted) for just over a tenner.

So far they seem pretty good, clear vision and they stay put on the head. They don't look too bad either.

Check out Arco for choice and styles for very little dosh. We buy loads at work, some even get used there...Peltor Metaliks Sport third from the bottom of the page are very nice.

I happened to see the Wickes ones when I was browsing in the store (as you do ) and thought, gotta be worth a try for a tenner for two pairs.

Tehre's also these. The lenses are interchangeable and they are comfy enough. Can get a little foggy though.

I got 2 pairs of the the JSP Underworld safety googles from Machinemart today - £8 apiece. Will report back after the weekend cycle as to how they fare in terms of fit, fogging etc....
