Hello,

I have an old Trek 4100 hard tail mountain bike that I use for a commuter.

http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?year=2003&brand=Trek&model=4100

I'd like to replace the front fork with one that does not have suspension (fixed). I'd like to keep the same geometry when I do this (I have already swapped the knarly tires for some city jet road tires and this has helped greatly).

Is somebody able to kindly provide a link to a fork that would allow this? I can fit the fork myself, just not sure exactly what I need to keep the same geometry.

Many thanks in advance,

Your bike needs a fork with brake bosses, a 1 1/8th inch straight steerer, with 9mm (QR) dropouts. You need to check that it's 26" wheel specific.

You can get them new for about 70 quid from On One, or check eBay. There's one on at about £30 that will do you nicely.
