Cheap tights for wet-weather commuting?

I'm looking for a pair of tights for commuting during this glorious English summer

At the moment I'm using some SportsDirect ones and they're pretty rubbish: they don't fit properly, and if they get wet in the morning they're usually still damp for the ride home.

So I'm after some tights that are:

• cheap
• as lightweight as possible (I'd rather arrive at work too cold than too hot)
• either waterproof or quick-drying.

I'll only be using them on a short commute, so they don't need to be wonderfully comfortable or even have any padding.

Any recommendations?

I use deacthlon leg wamers with padded shorts this time of year , in winter i wear running leggings over the shorts .

Ronhills? I always found that they dry out quick enough. They aren't waterproof.

For a short commute, a pair of cheap waterproof overtrousers is absolutely fine.
