I've currently built up a set of wheels on some old rims which have to be used with disc brakes. The only issue is I ended up using a MTB rear hub with a freewheel. I want to get back to fixed rather than use a freewheel on the town hack so what's the cheapest hub out there? I come up with Surly Hubs. Anyone know cheaper?

I did find some recently after hours of googling but I'm darned if I can remember the brand. I've gone with surly in the end.

Two possible solutions I think. IF you are not using rear brake an easy solution is to get a disc cog. The alternative is an el cheapo disc compatible freewheel hub used on numerous supermarket/argos/sportsdirect el cheapo "disc spec" mtbs, where the whole bike, or whole wheel would not cost a whole lot more than this...
