Unfeasible rides can be flagged and then Strava look in to it, they will delete flagged rides if they think they are not the real thing.

It has been covered before. Apparently, there is even some software which will doctor GPX files in a subtle fashion so it doesn't look too obvious that the saddos are cheating!

Strava have produced a video on their vimeo channel on how to flag suspicious looking rides- I know as I recently had a KOM stolen by someone who achieve 70mph around town, needless to say I got that given back to me.

arghh! blooming annoying when i put in a fast ride and it get's to about third place for a segment then the ones above seem to do it 25+mph faster, im not saying they didnt genuinely did it cause they might have but it just seems very odd when i know other seasoned riders around here do it nowhere near that

anyone know how to flag them, ive had a look and cant find it, its a 2.2 mile stretch 3.2% gradient but lots of corners and a very rough pothole filled windy road, im pretty sure you would struggle hitting 55 in a car on it with the corners

On their ride page there is a little spanner on the left hand side. Click on that and the option to flag the ride comes up.
