One of those subjects we cover alot with sport, especially cycling.

Other parts of life, just why ?? With work, you get those that will bum lick their way up etc. etc.

Just checking on my lad and he's playing Counter Strike Global Offensive on line. He pointed out a kid that's obviously using a hack that allows him to pin point the enemy and shoot them before the other player has a chance - apparently the two 'top kill' players were both shot behind a wooden gate - you can shoot through gates, but the shots were pin point accurate. It was quite obvious to me, as you can switch to that player's 'view' if you get shot, but in the 'watch' mode it shows you every player's exact position, and this kid is pin pointing every one. The other players had spotted it in chat but couldn't get the cheat kicked off. Being found as a cheat does actually get a ban.

We all know why folk cheat, but it takes the fun out of a game, surely ?

It's like having a secret money in monopoly ?

I've never been one to cheat, as you are only ever cheating yourself.

My daughter plays League of Legends, and that seems to have less cheats. I didn't realise how global and big business these games are. League has massive international competitions.

Almost impossible. It's basically two teams, terrorists and special ops. You go out to stop the other team. You can't actually tell which is the cheat whilst 'fighting' but you get notified of who killed you, so whilst you wait for the game to re-start, you can watch any player ! In game you just see an enemy soldier.

Not quite the same bragging rights about using a bid sniping tool though.

My son used to play COD a lot. Sounds like what your son is talking about is a camper..he finds a spot with a kill zone, sits and waits and gets his shot off the second the opponent appears. However good the opponent is, there's just no defense. In that case theres no cheating as in a piece of software cheat...its just not fair play.
Its mesmerising watching someone good play...Id watch my son, on the run, shoot, knife, throw grenades..whatever was appropriate with split second timing, flowing, one manoever after another after another, relentlessly.
My mental speed just couldnt do it, not even near...ever.

As far as the accuracy goes...my son would get a startling amount of headshots. I asked him how the HELL can you do that so often, so quick...he didnt know, he couldnt quantify or explain it, just practice and experience.
