Welcome to the forum buddy and hope you find people to ride out with. Have you found any clubs in your area? I started out solo like you then I joined a local club last year and have never looked back.

Cheers,

Kev

That's great. You'll pick up loads of tips and get good advice whilst building up your fitness as well as meeting loads of new people. Hope you enjoy being part of the club.

Keep your eye on the CC and Informal Rides section - watch out for CC Ecosse rides (we had a last-minute arrangement one today ^_^) and come and join us when you can.

Thanks Scoosh, will do. Had two rides today split by a trip to halfords due to back brake popping out, then chain rubbing again. Contacting cycle2work Monday as third fault and don't trust their mechanics any longer .

Very glad I didn't fit my keo pedals this morning as planned as brake failure would have deffo put me off unclipping
