Chocolate

So I thought the price of chocolate was on the up. but for months stores have been punting 4-packs of yer favourite fat bar for one pound only, though an individual cocoa-based snack treat will still set you back 70/80p. What the heck is going on? are they trying to get us hooked? Are 4 packs of Double deckers acting as a gateway drug for Green and Blacks?

I've just discovered chocolate with chilli. Me like.

Do I need to qualify that I've just discovered it in the shops and that it's nice, not that I invented it. Which I didn't.

There's some nice flavoured premium chocolate out there.

I had some chocolate with salt - surprisingly nice
Chocolate with geranium and orange by Montezuma is particularly yummy
Montezuma's chocolate with Chilli and Lime is tasty too

Bugger now I've got a chocolate craving. I'll have to dig out one of my four for a quid Cadbury's Flakes - they're a cheaper fix for the craving than any of the above. Not as satisfying though.

Fortunately for us there is a Belgian chocolatier on our high street. Belgian. Chocolates. Made by a Belgian. And they are good. The malt whisky pralines are a good bet.
