Can't spell, Can't Punctuate....Sue Me
I'm looking at two sets of wheels to replace the handbuilts for the summer on my sabbath Ti

1st

Shimano RS81 C24's - £359

2nd

Fulcrum racing 3's - £317

my handbuilts are the velocity a23's and come up pretty heavy as they are 32 hole build on 105 hubs around 1800grammes

so both these wheelsetsa re around 300grammes lighter and i will keep the handbuilts for the winter and then put either one of these two wheelsets onto the spesh tarmac for winter use.

Any help appreciated

Both are nice wheels and mostly you wouldn't be able to tell them apart, IMO.

The main difference is that Fulcrum have sealed cartridge bearings and Shimano have cup and cone.

I was just about to suggest the Zondas, but then scrolled down and you had ordered them. Many say they are very similar to the Fulcrum 3's as they are both Campag really.

Not similar, virtually identical, the only practical difference is the spoke lacing patterns.

weighed my handbuilts last night and they were 1.95 kgs - so the zondas will be 400g lighter wooohooooo

i think thats a better weight for climbing wheels although still a little heavier than my zipps
